Frequently asked questions

How can we reduce the cost of acquiring a new customer (CAC)?

The most expensive salesperson is one who doesn't sell — they search. If you're paying a senior salesperson to spend hours "googling" companies, you're throwing money away. Automate the prep work (research, finding contacts). The salesperson should get a ready-to-contact lead on their desk. That raises their productivity and lowers the cost per deal.

What if a key salesperson leaves to a competitor — with all the contacts?

Every owner's nightmare. The prevention is owning the data. Contacts and history must not live in the salesperson's head or private phone — they belong in the company system. With professional database tools and a CRM, data is your asset (company property), not the employee's.

We decide by gut, we don't have data. How do we start running the company by numbers?

Start with a Total Addressable Market (TAM) analysis. Many companies target already-saturated segments and ignore others. Have an analysis done: "How many companies in CZ/EU actually need my product?" The numbers often surprise you and reveal a strategic direction you hadn't seen.

How do I make sure the company grows even when I, as the owner, don't have time for sales?

You have to build a system that works independently of you. The key is process: define exactly who the ideal customer is (Ideal Customer Profile), where to find them, and how to reach them. Then support that process with quality data and hand it to the team. Sales becomes a repeatable activity — not magic dependent on the owner's talent.

Does it make sense to invest in data when we already have LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is great, but it has limits (capped visibility, not everyone is on it, no company financials). Professional data tools aggregate information from dozens of sources (registries, websites, social media, annual reports). You get a complete view (creditworthiness + contact + technology) that LinkedIn alone can't give you.
